12-05-14		Udo puts the pedal to the metal!!!

		Last Saturday (May 12th) Udo drove some laps in a Soviet BMP-1 panzer in Königsee (Sachsen, Germany) and at that he acquired his "panzer diploma". Also on board was Julia Dettke as the winner of last year's EMP "panzer ride" competition. In addition a camera crew of Germany's tv channel DMAX was on site to capture Udo's ride on camera which was probably his most unusual "tour" yet. We will publish the broadcast date as soon as possible. Udo after the ride: "It was exciting to feel how this huge steel giant puts in motion and how to steer this bulky thing throughout the terrain. I was suprised how extremly speedy this machine was. For me a dream came true. I always wanted to check it out. Next time we fly a jet plane."

12-04-23		"Metal Open Air" statement

		Dear metalfans, we are very sorry about the cancelled festival "Metal Open Air" in Brazil. All we can say is that we are still there and we were ready to rock anytime. We have heard that the cancellation was caused by local problems. It seems that the local companies (technical equipment, security, etc.) refused to work since they have not received any payments. We feel very very sorry for all the fans there. U.D.O. was booked on this festival via our agent in South America and all we can say is that everything was doing well upfront and there was not the slightest problem showing up. So there was no indication starting any alarm upfront. We stay in South America and will play another festival in Chile the next weekend.

12-03-28		U.D.O. will NOT play @ Rockrebellion Festival!!!

		We have to inform our fans in Czech Republic (and around) that U.D.O. will NOT play the "Rockrebellion Festival" in CZ-Jaromer scheduled June 29th. Unfortunately the promoter Honza Krivánek from Hardstone was not allowed to announce the band and that's why we never announced this show on our webpage as well. It is true that the promoter showed interest in booking the band and signed a contract but he never payed the contractual fixed deposit for the show which is an essential thing and the confirmation to start the promotion. He also sent fake proofs of a bank transfer but the money never arrived at our account. That´s why we had to decide that we will not play this show since we do not wanna work with untrustful people. All fans of U.D.O., please spread the word and don´t buy any tickets. If you already bought tickets ask to get your money back and inform us in case this will not work.

		Due to excellent ticketsales the Russian promoter moved the show in Krasnodar to a bigger venue called "Sobranie".

12-02-12		"Rev-Raptor Tour, Live from Sofia" - DVD news!!!

		Stefan is working on the DvD "Rev-Raptor Tour, Live from Sofia" which will be released in August/September 2012. It's a lot of work for him to do since the band played nearly 150 minutes and we want to show you every single second.

12-02-11		New album on April 20th!!!

		U.D.O. will release a "rare tracks" album with some very special gems for the fans. The album is called "Celebrator" and will be released April 20th via AFM Records. Subtitle of the album is "rare tracks" to make sure nobody expects a new studio album. We are currently working on the final track listing which will be released later this month.

		Last Saturday, Udo shared the stage with WARCRY (Spain) in Madrid to perform "I'm A Rebel".
